Its open-concept showroom allows customers to browse and compare flooring products firsthand.

Project Description – Following a break-in that exposed the limitations of its basic lock-and-alarm system, the business lacked the video evidence, remote monitoring, and documentation needed to support law enforcement and insurance claims. Through the Retail Modernization Project Grant (RMPG), Bolton Carpets partnered with Ontario-based Window Guard to install a modern video surveillance system with high-definition cameras, secure cloud storage, and remote access covering key retail and storage areas.

Project Impact & Expected Outcomes – The new system has transformed store security through proactive, real-time monitoring, helping deter theft, strengthen inventory protection, and provide valuable evidence for insurance and police investigations when needed. By giving staff and customers greater peace of mind while safeguarding the products homeowners rely on, digital modernization is reinforcing Bolton Carpets’ long-standing commitment to serving its community with trusted, reliable service.
